Condition critical: Former PAF pilot shot, injured
The injured was rushed to Hayatabad Medical Complex where his condition is stated to be critical

A former pilot, Muhammad Ayub, was left injured after unidentified attackers opened fire on his vehicle in University Town Monday evening. Police said Ayub is a retired Pakistan Air Force pilot and was driving when the attackers, who were on a motorcycle, shot at him in the head. Their faces were covered and they managed to flee. The injured was rushed to Hayatabad Medical Complex where his condition is stated to be critical. Police filed an FIR against unidentified persons and started investigation. They did not rule out the possibility of a targeted attack but said it would be a premature jump to the conclusion.
