Horrific crime: Juvenile offender raped in prison
The FIR only refers to the prisoner as “75”
PESHAWAR:
A juvenile offender at Central Prison Peshawar lodged an FIR with East Cantt police station on prisoner misconduct, accusing an adult inmate of rape. The victim, Qamar*, accused assistant superintendent of jail Ajmal Khan and assistant Anwar for assigning him to adult barracks, where he was raped by a prisoner. According to the FIR, Qamar said, “Ajmal and Anwar took a bribe of Rs6,000 from offender prisoner 75. After this, the offender shifted me to his barracks for the night, where he raped me.” The FIR only refers to the prisoner as “75”. Police registered an FIR and began investigation.
