A four member committee headed by DIG Aftab Pathan has been formed to investigate the matter

The provincial government has decided to take action against retired police officials who continue to ride in official vehicles and occupy official residences where guards are illegally deployed. An inquiry team has been set up to probe into the matter and a team will submit a report on all those police officials who are enjoying police guards and vehicles even though they are either retired or have been transferred to other provinces.
