Initial Reports: Shuhada forum official taken by force

Two unidentified men, who were also driving on the motorway, stopped them and kidnapped Qaiser, says Ahmad Ali

PESHAWAR:
Shuhada Ghazi Forum Coordinator and Spokesperson Qaiser Ali was taken by force on Saturday. Witnesses say Qaiser might have been abducted within the jurisdiction of Akbarpura police station in Nowshera. Speaking to The Express Tribune, the coordinator’s cousin Tahir Ali said Qaiser and his elder brother Ahmad Ali were heading home from Mardan on the motorway when the incident occurred. “Two unidentified men, who were also driving on the motorway, stopped them and kidnapped Qaiser,” he said. Ahmad resisted and managed to escape. An FIR has been registered against them. Shuhada Ghazi Forum was constituted by parents of students who lost their lives in the Army Public School attack on December 16, 2014. At least 151 people, mostly schoolchildren, lost their lives in the attack. The forum aimed to raise a voice on behalf of the families of children who had been killed.
