Fratricide: Brother kills sister for not ironing clothes
The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Naheeda

A 22-year-old man allegedly killed his sister within the jurisdiction of Toru police station in Mardan. The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Naheeda. Rehman Darwesh, the deceased’s father, told the police his son Mukhtiar gunned Naheeda down a few days ago following an argument. According to Darwesh, his daughter had refused to iron Mukhtiar’s clothes as she was busy doing other things. “This irked Mukhtiar and he opened fire on her,” he said. Naheeda was injured and rushed to Mardan Medical Complex where she succumbed to her injuries. Police have arrested Mukhtiar.
