PESHAWAR:

Family members and relatives demanded the government take notice of threats they had received from two jailed men accused of murdering four sisters in the city late June.

The father, Mohammad Iqbal, and relatives said this during a protest outside Peshawar Press Club on Friday. The protesters expressed disappointment over the delay in justice.

Iqbal said the accused Fazal Qadar and son, Fazal Hussain, have been threatening the family from Peshawar Central Prison. The threats have been reported to court but no action has been taken. Hashtnagri police had arrested the accused from Frontier Region Peshawar.
