Enforce the law: LEAs given go-ahead for operations
The meeting was attended by Rangers sector commanders and senior police officials

Law enforcement agencies have been given the approval to immediately conduct surgical operations in the wake of frequent attacks on law enforcers, particularly police personnel, in the city. This was decided in a meeting on Friday held at the Rangers Headquarters and presided over by Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, director-general Major General Bilal Akbar. The meeting was attended by Rangers sector commanders and senior police officials. “The targeted killings of police personnel were discussed during the meeting and a line of action was planned, after which the approval for surgical operations was given,” read a statement issued by the Rangers. The paramilitary force has also appealed to citizens to contact them on their helpline or website with any information regarding the assailants involved in the attacks on police personnel.
