In custody : Three suspected militants arrested

CHARSADDA: Three suspected militants were arrested separately in Charsadda, while heavy caches of arms and ammunition were also recovered. Sources said law-enforcement agencies arrested Mohammad Tayyab, a native of Bajaur Agency, from Bobak Kalyas in Charsadda early Thursday morning. Based on information provided by the suspect, they later raided another house in the locality and recovered three hand grenades, explosive materials and militant literature. A suspect was arrested from the premises. In another such raid, a hand grenade, a suspicious bag and a pistol were seized, while a man identified as Habibullah was arrested from the house. The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.  Meanwhile, in the Mamond, Bajaur Agency, the political administration and local lashkar burnt down the homes of three suspected militants.
