Two women raped in Jhang

One of the women was taken to sugarcane field and raped

FAISALABAD:

A young married woman was raped by three men in a Jhang police precinct on Wednesday.

Her husband told the police that she was on her way to the fields in Lurkha village when three men intercepted her and carried her to sugarcane fields and raped her.

He said she had raised hue and cry and the rapists had fled. The SHO said that they had received a complaint about the matter and were looking into it. Separately, a girl, resident of Chak 217-RB, Achkera, was home alone when a man broke into the house and raped her. Ghulam Muhammad Abad police said they had registered a complaint and were investigating.
