Skilled workforce: TEVTA to introduce confectionery course

TEVTA Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that the authority had started 62 demand-driven courses in its institutes

The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will introduce confectionery courses. TEVTA Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that the authority had started 62 demand-driven courses in its institutes. He said that the Trade Testing Board (TTB) would give examinations to the students enrolled in the courses. He said that a workplace skills and occupational health and safety procedure course would be initiated at Govt Apprenticeship Training Centre, Township, as a pilot project.
