Bilawal was presiding over two separate meetings of PPP office-bearers from Thatta and Sujawal districts at Bilawal House on Monday. He started the consultation process from Larkana, Islamabad and Lahore a couple of months back to keep a close liaison with the party workers, including leaders of the ladies wing, youth wing, PSF and other sister organisations, and listen to their ideas and proposals. Organisational and development matters of the respective districts with particular reference to upcoming local bodies' elections were discussed at the meeting.
Bilawal urged workers to mobilise the people and carry the message of ‘Bhuttoism’ to every door-step. PPP leaders and workers ought to remain together with the people and share their happiness and sorrows, he said. He also directed the party's elected representatives to resolve issues faced by their respective constituencies.
He said the PPP has roots in the masses and its struggle for the rights of the downtrodden, peasants, labourers, students and common man will continue.
