Arm of the law: School heads booked for failing to provide security
Cases also registered against landlords who did not provide details of their tenants

The Kohat police registered cases against ten people, including heads of various government and private schools, who failed to implement security recommendations at their institutes under the National Action Plan.
A press release issued by DPO Sohaib Ashraf’s office on Friday stated police launched a search operation to find militants in the Cantonment and city areas.
He added they also checked security arrangements at various schools and registered cases against the heads of those institutes who failed to meet requirements.
These included principals, headmasters or head teachers of Khawas Khan Public School Jungle Khel, Government Primary School (GPS) Marai Bala, Government Girls Primary School Mohallah Waizan, GPS Tehsil Gate and Ghazi Public School.
The press release added officials registered cases against Saeed, a resident of Muhammadzai; Ikramullah from Orakzai Agency; and Baseer from Ittifaq Colony for failing to provide details of their tenants to the relevant police station.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Riaz police arrested two Afghan citizens, Zal Muhammad and Sher Ali, for travelling without proper documents. Police registered a case against the two and sent them to jail. The statement added officials had contacted authorities for deportation of the Afghan citizens.
