Campus space: ‘Seal schools operating from homes’

FAISALABAD: DCO Noorul Amin Mengal on Friday had directed the district administration to seal schools set up in houses. The DCO issued the directive on a complaint moved by residents of Y- block Madina Town. The DCO directed the officers of the Education Department to cancel registration of schools without campuses.  The DCO said schools set up on public land should be vacated.  He directed the Education Department to provide a certificate stating that there were no encroachments on public property.  The DCO said action should be taken against teachers who left duties after marking their attendance. He said teachers who were involved in politics should also be discouraged and action should be taken against negligent teachers.
