Chance meeting: Netanyahu avoids Nawaz at NY restaurant
They avoided alcohol or meat in their meal, opting instead for pizzas and sodas
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week cancelled reservations at a restaurant in New York after he found out that Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif was also dining there at the same time. According to New York Post, Netanyahu decided not to dine at the Serafina Always due to “security reasons”. A witness at the restaurant said that Nawaz, his wife and their entourage consisting 10 people dined for nearly three hours on the second floor of the establishment. They avoided alcohol or meat in their meal, opting instead for pizzas and sodas. For dessert they ate apple pie, cheesecake and chocolate soufflé. The tiramisu was declined.
