The opposition leader said the Finance Department had said the reports had been sent to the CM’s secretariat

Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on Thursday submitted a privilege motion against the government’s failure to present audit reports for local government bodies. Rasheed had written a letter to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif last week, demanding that audit reports for the past seven years be presented in the assembly. The opposition leader said the Finance Department had said the reports had been sent to the CM’s secretariat. Rasheed said the public accounts committee should review the audit reports.
