Murder convict to be hanged on Oct 6
His appeal before the Supreme Court was dismissed on December 3, 2013
LAHORE:
District and Sessions Judge Bahadar Ali Khan on Wednesday deputed Judicial Magistrate Tallat Mehmood to oversee the execution of a murder convict scheduled to be hanged on October 6 at central jail. Mehmood will also attest the last will of Muhammad Idrees.
Islampura police had registered an FIR against him in 1997. After conviction, he filed an appeal before the Federal Shariat Court, which was dismissed on November 6, 1998. His appeal before the Supreme Court was dismissed on December 3, 2013.
