Unidentified: Body found without head

PESHAWAR: A headless body of a young man was found in a garbage pile in Dir Colony within the jurisdiction of Yakatoot police station on Wednesday. According to the police, people from the neighbourhood noticed the presence of a body in the garbage and immediately informed the police. The remains were recovered and sent for an autopsy. “It is very difficult to establish the identity of the deceased at the moment since there is no head, but investigation is under way,” said an official of the Yakatoot police. “The man was at least 24 years old,” he added.
