Drowning incident: FIR registered against kiln owner

Police registered a case under Section 302.

Khurarianwala police have registered a case against the owner of a brick kiln where three children drowned in a ditch on Monday. The Khurarianwala SHO said on Tuesday that Hassan Muhammad, the owner, had not cordoned off the ditch or drained it of water. He had had ditch dug up so he could store bricks there. Jaffar Hussain, the father of one of the children who had drowned, had filed the complaint against Hassan. Police registered a case under Section 302. DCO Noorul Amin Mengal had constituted a committee  to probe the incident. He had told them to submit a report in 24 hours however the committee has not completed its report yet.
