CORPORATE CORNER: WWF and Fauji Fertilizer join hands
There are only five species of freshwater dolphins found in the larger river systems of the world today

WWF-Pakistan, the country’s leading conservation organisation, and Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) have joined hands to conserve the Indus river dolphin in Pakistan.FFC Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Senior Manager Munawar Hayat Khan Niazi said that FFC-CSR programme has a history of being proud partners with WWF-Pakistan on various environmental conservation programmes. There are only five species of freshwater dolphins found in the larger river systems of the world today. The Indus River in Pakistan is home to the river dolphin which is considered the most threatened species with a population of about 1,452 dolphins that are distributed between Chashma and Kotri barrages.
