Missing pilgrims: Raza Rabbani pleads for clarity

Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has asked government ministers to allay the fears of families of pilgrims who went missing following the stampede in Mina. “The unfortunate tragedy at Mina has become a source of concern and anxiety for the affected families in Pakistan,” he said in letters to the concerned authorities. He addressed his concerns to the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf. Rabbani called for a comprehensive statement on the missing pilgrims during the Senate session on Monday.
