Personal enmity? Body of ‘spiritual healer’ found

KARACHI:

A spiritual healer and a young man were found dead at the healer's residence on Monday.

The bodies were found in Gulshan-e-Surjani, within the limits of Surjani police station. The spiritual healer was identified as 52-year-old Siddiq Sikandar, while the other victim has yet to be identified.

The police reached the area and shifted the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsies, after being informed by the neighbours. Police officer Lal Khan said that both the victims were hit and killed by a sharp object. He added that two more people lived in the same house but they have disappeared since the incident happened. The police said that they were trying to locate them to investigate the case.

Khan said that the murders might have taken place over personal enmity. However nothing can be said until the investigation is completed, he added.
