College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan has launched a fellowship in emergency medicine to fill seats for specialists at emergency departments of public hospitals across the country.
It was decided during the tour that the Pakistani doctors would be offered training in 11 specialities in Ireland.

A statement issued by the CPSP on Thursday said top candidates from the fellowship would be sent to the United Kingdom and Ireland for a two-year training programme. The statement said more than 200 Pakistani doctors were being trained in seven specialities in Ireland.
The statement said a delegation led by CPSP President Zafarllah Chaudhry had visited medical colleges in England and Ireland.
It was decided during the tour that the Pakistani doctors would be offered training in 11 specialities in Ireland.
