The Civil Hospital, Hyderabad, will be adding a new 50-bed intensive care unit to the hospital’s existing facilities, announced the medical superintendent Dr Wajid Memon on Wednesday. The building will soon be completed at a cost of Rs130 million, he added. He acknowledged the shortage of young doctors and paramedical staff at the hospital but also claimed that there were no ghost employees there.
