Accident: Three dies as jeep plunges into Neelum

The incident took place some 40 kilometres away from Muzaffarabad

MUZAFFARABAD:
Three killed in road accident, including two brothers on Tuesday. According to the police, a private jeep (IDM 186) heading to Muzaffarabad from Dosat, Neelum Valley, fell into river Neelum while negotiating a sharp curve near Noseri. The incident took place some 40 kilometres away from Muzaffarabad. Locals and rescue teams pulled the bodies from the wreckage. The deceased include brothers Ali Asghar, Khawaja Maqsood and school teacher Malik Shafqat. Police also said the jeep’s driver Muhammad Arif received serious injuries and was shifted to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayad Al-Nahyan Hospital, Muzaffarabad, where he is stated to be in critical condition. All four passengers hailed from the Dosat and Dodniyal areas of Neelum Valley.
