PARACHINAR: Kurram Agency MNA Sajid Turi said lawmakers from the tribal areas have taken centre stage by placing the FATA Reforms Bill before Parliament and will continue with the struggle for their people. Turi issued this statement while addressing a press conference in Parachinar on Tuesday morning. Tribal leaders and other MNAs were also present on the occasion. Turi stressed reforms are necessary to highlight the plight of the tribespeople. The important issues, Turi said, are the restoration of peace, swift rehabilitation of displaced families and the merging of the tribal areas into Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa or making the region a separate province. He said tribal lawmakers presented the bill after consulting all stakeholders.
