Anti-state activities: CTD arrests ‘financer of RAW agents’

The suspect, identified as Adil Ansari, is an inspector at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC)

KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) claim to have arrested an alleged financer of Indian spy agency’s agents on Tuesday. The suspect, identified as Adil Ansari, is an inspector at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and was arrested during a raid in Lucknow Society. CTD officials said the accused used to finance agents of Indian spy agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), adding that his name was also disclosed by an arrested suspect. According to CTD officials, Ansari has been booked under Section 123 (conspiracy against Pakistan) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. “He sent the accused to India with money and gave contacts in Delhi,” they said. “He also financed those people who are involved in anti-state activities in Pakistan.”
