
A former official of Pakistan Air Force was shot dead by unidentified men in Charbagh, Swat district on Sunday.
According to Khanzeb, an official of Charbagh police station, Kabal SHO Amjad Khan registered an FIR against unidentified culprits who killed his brother in Dakorak, Charbagh. Khanzeb said Ihsanullah was on his way to the mosque for prayers at night when assailants shot at him.
“Irfanullah received multiple bullets and died on the spot while the murderers managed to flee the crime scene,” said Khanzeb.
Khanzeb explained the brother of the deceased, Kabal SHO Amjad Khan, had been receiving a lot of threats from militants since his previous appointment as the SHO of Matta police. Heavy contingents of security forces, police officials and members of village defence committee rushed to the site and launched a search operation but found no trace of the killers.
