In memoriam: PPP marks Murtaza’s death anniversary

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) organised a ceremony on Sunday to mark the death anniversary of Murtaza Bhutto, son of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, at its secretariat in Model Town area.


A large number of party officials and activists were present on the occasion. Yusuf Awan of the PPP’s ulema wing led the prayers. Those present also paid homage to those killed in Friday’s attack on an airbase in Badhaber.

They also eulogised the services rendered by the military in the struggle against terrorism and religious extremism.
