Azlan Shah Cup hockey team announced

The 18-member squad of Pakistan Hockey Team for Azlan Shah Cup was announced on Wednesday, with Muhammad Imran slated to lead the side.
Senior players such as Rehan Butt, Sohail Abbas and Shakeel Abbasi have been dropped, while Zeeshan Ashraf, Waseem Ahmad and Akhtar Ali were out of the training camp already.
Chief Selector Hanif Khan says some players were dropped only because of fitness issues. In light of such major changes, Vice Captain Imran was appointed captain of the squad.
The team will leave for participating in the Azlan Shah Cup on May 2nd, in Malaysia.
