Brutal Act: Two killed in name of honour

MARDAN: A man and a woman were killed in the name of honour in Zandho area of Shahbaz Garhi, Mardan in the late hours of Friday. ASI Ajmal Khan at Shahbaz Garhi police station said that a man identified as Arif, allegedly had “illicit relations” with a married woman, Gulrukh. The ASI added Gulrukh’s husband was working abroad. “On Friday, Gulrukh’s in-laws caught her and Arif together at the former’s house.” The ASI said the in-laws shot and killed both Arif and Gulrukh, and later buried them. An FIR in the case was not registered till this report was filed.
