Bicycle theft: SHO’s comments sought on plea against guard

An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Old Anarkali SHO on Friday on a petition filed by a man seeking a case against a security guard of the General Post Office (GPO) for stealing his bicycle.
Muhammad Nazeer told the court he had gone to the GPO and parked his bicycle in front of the post office. He said the guard had asked him not to park the bicycle there.
He said that when he came back the bicycle had been stolen. He said he believed that the guard had stolen it. He said he had requested the SHO to take action against the guard but he did nothing. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register an FIR against the guard.
