Here's an eight-minute preview of Priyanka's Quantico

The Bollywood actress' Hollywood debut is full of suspense and drama

Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood debut Quantico has everyone on edge, to add to the suspense, ABC released the first eight minutes of the series' a week prior to the release date.

It starts with a glimpse of the rubble scene in the official trailer with the Bollywood actress lying amidst wreckage and wakes up confused. It then takes the audience into a flash back of Alex (Priyanka) who leaves home and flies to Virginia for FBI training.

In the series, PeeCee is playing FBI trainee Alex Parrish along side Jake McLaughlin, Dougray Scott and Aunjanue Ellis, Tate Ellington, Graham Rogers, Johanna Braddy and Yasmine Al Massri.

The actress also took to Twitter to share her excitement.

Each of these young FBI recruits has a secret behind joining the bureau. The show will narrate their adventures and experiences as they receive training.

Earlier, PeeCee talked about her role in the FBI thriller at the Television Critics Association press tour.

“I had a holding deal with ABC because (casting EVP) Keli Lee came to me in India while I was filming a movie,” said Priyanka, who praised ABC’s reputation for diverse casting, reports Hollywood Reporter.

“Of all the content, the best in the world was in American Television, and I wanted to be part of that,” she was quoted as saying.

"I wanted to be cast for the respect of being an actor, not for the colour of my skin. Going to school in America, I never saw anyone with my colour skin (on TV),” she added.

The new series premieres September 27 on ABC.
