‘Positive step’: 7 Baloch insurgents lay down weapons
The men vowed not to take part in any terrorist activities in the future

Seven insurgents, including an important commander of a banned outfit, laid down their weapons in Sibi on Thursday. Commander Jummah Khan Marri of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) with his six fighters surrendered before Sibi DIG Iqrar Hussain at FC headquarters. The men vowed not to take part in any terrorist activities in the future. Meanwhile, six kidnapped people, including three Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) officers, were released in Afghanistan after three days.
