Widow’s woes: Court takes up pension query
She said her health did not permit her to regularly visit offices

An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the CCPO on a plea filed by the widow of a deceased policeman seeking to obtain her due share of his pension.
Parveen Younis said she had visited the offices of the CCPO, the SP headquarters and the AGP several times to obtain her due share of her husband Younis’s pension who had died on April 24. She said she had met several cops but they had seemed reluctant to assist her. She said her health did not permit her to regularly visit offices.
