Ever since Salman Khan announced his return to Bigg Boss 9, speculations about contestants for the upcoming season have been making rounds in the media.

After Sunny Leone, another porn star -- Mia Khalifa -- was rumoured to participate in the reality TV show. But the Lebanese-American adult actress has brushed aside all rumours saying she is "never stepping foot in India".

Mia took to Twitter to clear the air about her participation and demanded that the person who said that she has "shown interest" in the show be 'fired'.

Earlier, actress Shweta Basu Prasad, producer and actor Uday Chopra, controversial godwoman Radhe Maa and comedian Gaurav Gera also denied the buzz regarding their participation on the show.

We all know that the theme of Big Boss 9 is Double Trouble and the promo is already out, but with all these names being struck off from the list, speculations of the official participants are making everyone as curious as ever.

Prior to the release of the promo, Salman tweeted a picture of himself taking a selfie and captioned it: “Bigg Boss 9 is mine” confirming that he will return as host in the upcoming season.


Salman who hosted the previous four seasons of the reality TV show announced his exit from it last year. The extended edition Bigg Boss Halla Bol was then hosted by Farah Khan instead.

Rumours were afloat that Salman won’t be hosting season 9 due to various reasons that included date issues and an increase in remuneration. However, they were followed by reports confirming that the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor will resume his position as the host.
