Deedar accuses Resham of destroying homes, lives on Eid special

Punjabi actress says remarks stem from years of personal experience with fellow star

Punjabi actress Deedar recently appeared on an Eid special show of Suno To Sahi hosted by Hina Niazi, where she accused Pakistani star Resham of causing turmoil in many homes.

She shared her opinion about Resham, saying, “Resham is a very good actress, but she has destroyed many homes and lives.”

When asked if she had a personal conflict with the star, Deedar clarified that they had been friends for years, and her criticism is based on her own experiences. She added, “She still has friends, please be aware. One should stay cautious.”

Deedar also commented on Resham’s cooking and charitable contributions, saying, “Even there, I feel a bit wary.”

Known as a dancer and performer, Deedar is one of the biggest names in the Punjabi film and theatre industry. She entered the media industry inspired by her elder sister, Nargis. Recently, the sisters were involved in a fraud case alongside Deedar's husband.

Resham, also known as Saima Shah, is a renowned Pakistani film and television actress. Famous for her roles in the 1990s and 2000s, including Sangam and Jeeva, she has stepped back from acting to focus on other pursuits, including charity work.
