Embezzlement: NAB files reference against former Bahawalnagar postmaster
NAB has files a reference in an accountability court against Muhammad Saleem, former Bahawalnagar Postmaster.

The National Accountability Bureau, Punjab, has filed a reference in an accountability court against Muhammad Saleem, former Bahawalnagar Postmaster, charging him with embezzlement of Rs475,337. He is accused of issuing bogus money order receipts.
According to the text of the reference, the investigation was held against the accused after receiving complaints from the management of the Post Office department.
The reference says that the investigations suggested that the accused embezzled the funds in 2006 when he was posted as the in charge of Bahwalnagar Cantt sub post office.
The reference says that after a detailed examination of post office records NAB had collected sufficient evidence against the accused.
