Multan blast: FIR lodged against unidentified terrorists
Suspects left package on a fruit cart which later exploded
MULTAN:
Corps Commander Multan Lieutenant General Ashfaq Nadeem visited the site of the September 13 Multan bomb blast in Vehari Square on Tuesday. Regional police officer Multan DIG Tariq Masood briefed him on the spot about the ongoing investigations. Initial investigations revealed that two alleged terrorists approached a fruit vendor, purchased some fruits and gave him a Rs1000 note. The vendor had gone to another shop to change the bill, but in the meanwhile they had left the area, leaving a package on the cart of the fruit vendor. The package exploded within a few seconds but fortunately, the fruit vendor remained unharmed and has given a sketch of the alleged terrorists. An FIR has been registered under sections 302, 324, 7ATA and 3/4 against the unknown terrorists.
