LAHORE: A consumer court issued a notice on Tuesday to the owner of a travel company, Travel Channel, in a Rs1 million suit filed against him. Petitioner Ali Iqbal told the court that on August 14,2013, he had purchased a return ticket from London to Lahore for Rs150,000 from Asif Nazir. He said he could not travel to Lahore owing to illness and that he had informed Nazir about that. He said Nazir had asked him to apply for the refund. But, he said, the respondent had later refused to refund the amount. He has requested the court to direct Nazir to pay Rs1 million in damages.
