LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ) sought comments on Tuesday from the Sabzazar SHO on a petition regarding compliance of court orders against a woman accused of running a brothel in the area.

Shehbaz Arif had filed a petition requesting the court to order police to register a case against Punam Bai and others for running a brothel in the area.

At an earlier hearing, the court had ordered the SHO to record petitioner’s statement and take action against the respondents in line with law.

The petitioner has now filed another petition saying that the Sabzazar SHO had refused to record his statement in accordance with  the court directives. He requested the court to direct the Sabzazar SHO to register a case against the respondents.
