Do you always have to give up your dream job for a more stable income? No.

After seeing what these people had to say, we changed our opinion a little bit. Does it always have to be a choice?

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

There are many choices one has to make in life, to be or not to be is always the question. But then the human race has two kinds of people; those who are exactly who they want to be and those who are fighting to be who they really are. The most obvious of these choices are reflected in the careers we choose to pursue. The dream job, albeit idealistic and impractical, is exciting and never really feels like work. A more concrete approach, on the other hand, is to opt for a career in a field that is guaranteed to pull you through the financial difficulties life is bound to throw at you. While there are many reasons we choose the careers we choose, many a times, we fail to opt for that one thing that is calling out to our very soul. But do we always make the right choice?

We asked 10 people three questions about their career choices; what they had to say was surprising. Here is what they had to say,

1. Sunehra Mehmood Baloch

2. Rehana Ali

3. Zeeshan Raza

4. Shehzad Baloch

5. Shafaq Naveed

6. Muhammad Ahsan

7. Saadia Qamar

8. Ali Zaidi

9. Moeen Zuberi

10. Lyla Qureshi

After seeing what these people had to say, we changed our opinion a little bit. Does it always have to be a choice? Yes. But is it always good or bad? No. Sometimes the choices you make turn out in your favour. And no one said you couldn't a desk job and be a professional fighter too. Many of these people have learn't to balance their more pragmatic decisions with their dreams. And they're flying!
