Sexual Abuse: Plea for direction to police dismissed

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge dismissed on Monday a petition filed by a boy against his elder brother for allegedly sexually abusing him. At the previous proceedings, the court had sought comments from the Masti Gate SHO. The SHO said that based on his investigation it appeared that the petitioner was trying to frame his elder brother. He had said that the petitioner had recently sold his house to the suspect. It seemed that he was now blackmailing him into returning the property, the SHO said. The petitioner had accused his brother of sexually abusing him and threatening him with dire consequences if he approached police with a complaint.
