Preparations: KMC to repair collection vehicles for Eidul Azha
Provincial minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that cleanliness will be ensured in every nook and cranny of the city

All the faulty vehicles of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will be repaired before Eidul Azha to collect the offal of sacrificial animals, assured the provincial minister for local government, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.
On the local government elections, he said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was ready to make an alliance with any political party. "Our doors are open for all," he said. About the Pakistan Muslim League - Functional's Pappu Shah and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid's Arbab Ghulam Rahim joining the PPP he said they were welcome in the party.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, he said that cleanliness will be ensured in every nook and cranny of the city. However, when asked how the KMC will initiate the cleaning process during Eid, when none of its vehicles were in working condition, he responded that those vehicles in working condition will be brought on roads and rest would be discarded.
On KMC's department with no heads, he said that only officers with the charges of corruption proven against them will be denied a post and those departments will be without any head. Officials with only unproven allegations of corruption against them will not and have not been removed until the charges are proven.
