Butler, who claims that she was told she should be in prison for putting her feet up on the seats, also shared the video, captioning it: 'So on my way home today on the train I got abused…for having my feet on the chair.'

The video shows that the Muslim man approached Butler and said, "I cannot sit there. I cannot pray with my clothes on, OK? And I travel every day."

Although a young man intervened to calm the situation, the argument continued to intensify, whereupon the agitated Muslim man told the woman she should "be in prison"

Nevertheless, Butler was not alone in tackling the elderly Muslim man as a younger man questioned the Muslim man’s nationality.

In an attempt to get the woman arrested, the Muslin man also called the police saying, ''I'm not frightened of any of you. I'll get the police."

Responding to the new voice, the elderly man says, "Don't argue with me. I know this is England, I was born here, Okay? I have as much right as you have, OK."

Continuing the dispute, Butler added, "I pray with my shoes on. I am a Christian. This is not a Muslim country," just before the elderly passenger exits the train.
