Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal directed all departments on Friday to strictly implement the job quota for disabled people.
He was addressing a meeting at Civil Secretariat to review the implementation of the quotas.
The chief secretary said the provincial government was taking all possible steps to help the disabled, including visually-impaired people, attain a respectable status in society. He said the government was committed to making them useful citizens. He said the government had adopted an effective strategy for the rehabilitation of special persons and. Job quota for them has been increased from two to three percent, Gondal said.
