Malaysian trade: Focus on unexplored products, says FPCCI
FPCCI Senior Vice President Abdul Rahim Janoo informed that efforts are being made on both sides regarding FTA

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Friday said Pakistan should focus on products other than agricultural ones in trade with Malaysia. Both countries have potential to increase the volume of the trade, FPCCI Senior Vice President Abdul Rahim Janoo said during his meeting with Malaysian Consul General Muhammad Ismail Bakri. While discussing the potential of bilateral trade, Janoo said that Pakistan imports palm oil, electronic equipment and parts and accessories from Malaysia. He said that Malaysian exports to Pakistan remain $1.2 billion while exports of Pakistan to Malaysian stand at $233 million. He said that the balance of trade is mostly in favour of Malaysia. He informed that efforts are being made on both sides regarding Free Trade Agreement.
