Bad blood: Woman arrested for killing nephew in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH:
Police claimed on Friday to have arrested a woman who had killed her nephew in Muzaffargarh.
DSP Awais Malik told newsmen that the six-year-old boy had gone missing on Monday. He said his parents had informed the police when they had failed to find him.
He said on Wednesday, the boy’s body was found near Karam Dad Qureshi police station.
He said the body was taken to a morgue for post mortem. He said the autopsy revealed that the boy had been strangled.
The DSP said following the incident, several people had been detained for interrogation.
He said Farzana, the maternal aunt of the deceased, had confessed to killing him with help from a friend following an argument with her sister. The DSP said her accomplice had later been arrested.
