Virat Kohli is now Roger Federer's boss
Indian captain has bought stakes in the IPTL team the UAE Royals which includes the Swiss maestro

Young India captain Virat Kohli has bought stakes in the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) team the UAE Royals which includes tennis great Roger Federer.
Kohli already has stakes in one the highly rated Indian Super League team FC Goa and is also a well sought after man in the Indian advertisement industry.
According to a press release, the current world number two Federer has accepted to join the UAE Royals franchise for the second season of the IPTL 2015 that will be held from December 2-20.
Kohli is now a co-owner of this franchise in a tournament which is the brainchild of the Indian Grand Slam winner Mahesh Bhupathi.
Federer will team up with legendary 2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic and 2008 French Open champion Ana Ivanovic.
"I have always followed tennis with great interest and today I am glad to be part of a professional tennis league team," said Kohli at the official unveiling of the UAE Royals team in Dubai on Thursday, as quoted by NDTV.
"I am a huge fan of Roger Federer and with him joining the UAE Royals, my decision to be on board with the team was firm. The UAE Royals feature some of tennis' greatest players and I am confident about the prospects of the team in the IPTL. I am also excited about the format of the IPTL, which I am sure will drive further interest in the game of tennis."
The IPTL has added another team, the Japan Warriors, in their four-nation tournament to go five up. The Indian Aces, UAE Royals, Philippine Mavericks and the Singapore Slammers alongside the new comers will start the event on December 2 in Japan and it will end at Singapore's Indoor Stadium for the grand finale on December 20.
