Booked for embezzlement: NAB arrests ex-divisional forest officer
The accused owns expensive vehicles and also made unexplained transactions from his bank account
PESHAWAR:
National Accountability Bureau Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa arrested Muqarrab Shah, a former divisional forest officer from the province’s forest department. Shah has been accused of accumulating property beyond known sources of income. NAB conducted an enquiry to collect evidence regarding the properties owned by Shah and his dependents. The enquiry revealed Shah had accumulated plots and houses in different parts of K-P – including Peshawar, Haripur, Nowshera and Abbottabad. In addition, the accused owns expensive vehicles and also made unexplained transactions from his bank account.
