Mou signed: Pfizer to support courses for general physicians

Pfizer will propose nominations and offer enrolment for various continuing medical education programmes

Pfizer Pakistan Limited and College of Family Medicine Pakistan (CFMP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support a sustained medical education of general practitioners (GPs).



By virtue of this MoU inked in August, Pfizer Pakistan will support membership of the CFMP – affiliated with Royal College of General Practitioners, UK – for more than 170 General Physicians (GPs) from across Pakistan, a statement by Pfizer said on Wednesday.


Pfizer will propose nominations and offer enrolment for various continuing medical education programmes for GPs practicing in Pakistan in accordance with the eligibility criteria prescribed by CFMP.


These training courses will include research methodology, ethics in medicine and  various other courses to enhance the GPs skills.
